I've been told I need a website but I know nothing about the Internet

We understand that it can be bewildering so we're here to guide you through the entire process.
The important thing to note is that we do all of the hard work and we can fully advise you. All we'll basically need from you are your company details, a logo (if you have one), ideas of colour scheme, any photographs or images you'd like us to add and text for the pages. If you don't have any of these it's not a problem because we can work with you to get everything you need.

My friend just paid thousands for his site, what's the catch?

There is no catch. BKK Websites is backed by ten years experience in producing high-end, results-focused Internet sites.
This means we can put this experience to good use by producing our sites very quickly and at a low cost to you.

My web designer has vanished, can you continue with my current (unfinished) site?

Unfortunately you aren't the only one and we hear this happen quite regularly.
Ordinarily we can't continue developing a site that's not finished but we'd be delighted to have a look at it for you and provide advice on your best course of action. If this is the case please Contact Us

What is a domain name?

A domain name is a web address, e.g. www.google.com or www.bkkwebsites.co.uk
During the set-up of your new site we can research and make recommendations on domain names for you. Based on your preference the domain is then applied to your site (cost for this is included within the set-up charge)

Can I have more than one domain name?

Yes, each subsequent domain name will cost an additional £2 per month. This includes .co.uk and .com versions of the same name (e.g. www.bkkwebsites.co.uk and www.bkkwebsites.com)

I already have a domain name, can I use that?

Of course. When your site is ready to go live you will need to change the DNS A record of your domain name to point to our servers - If this means nothing to you don't panic - we can help you with this.

Can I have more than one email address?

Of course, each subsequent email address will be £1 per month regardless of whether it's a forwarding, POP or IMAP email account or a combination of these.

I already have an existing email account, can I use that?

Yes, of course, either it can be used as your sole account or we can create a forwarding email address to forward emails onto your current email account.

Can I have a 'real' email address but also have emails forwarded on to my current email address

Yes, no problem.

I already have a design I want to use, can you use it?

We can integrate your existing design at an additional cost. Unfortunately we cannot give an indication of the price until we have seen the design.

I don't like any of your designs can you create a new one?

Of course, there may be additional set-up costs. Your requirements can be thoroughly discussed with us and costs calculated prior to commencement of any work.

Can I move my site away from you at a later date?

Unfortunately not, we can only offer a fantastic product at such low prices through rental of each site.

Can I have more than one site?

Of course!

Can I add additional pages, features and modules to my site at a later date?

Of course you can but there may be an additional set-up charge.

How long is the contract?

It's just a 30 day rolling contract which means that all we require is 30 days notice, that's it.

I don't want to pay monthly, can I pay in advance?

There are two types of payment methods available to help your cash flow: monthly or annually. Each payment is made in advance of the term. A special offer is available for annual payers who get twelve months for the price of eleven (set-up costs still apply).

Can I buy my site outright?

Unfortunately not, we can only offer a fantastic product at such low prices through rental of each site.

Can I pause payments on my site?

You can put your site on-hold for a nominal fee of £5 per month (plus additional email costs) You will continue to be able to send and receive emails on this account but your site will show a BKK 'Holding' page (basically our logo and short details about us).

What happens if I miss a payment or stop paying altogether?

Obviously we will make every attempt to contact you to see why you've missed a payment and if there's anything we can do to help. If you do not wish to continue with your site or if we cannot get in touch with you your site and email account(s) will be placed on hold. If we still do not hear from you your domain name will be returned to the registrar upon expiration.

Is my site backed-up?

Regular, off-site backups are taken. We also have redundant fail-safe servers in place. Legal
